Hardwoods still blanket the rolling hills and farm land of lovely Linn County, Kansas. Located along the Kansas-Missouri border, the area is known for its significant Border War and Civil War history. The county is located between two majors population bases, and U.S. Highway 69 runs along the eastern corridor.
The county is located less than 45 minutes south of Kansas City, but retains the small town atmosphere that makes living in Linn County attractive. Each of the towns in the county have their own city lake and library.
